The theme of this year's LMA Midwest Conference was on 'greening' the law firm. Speakers from around the country came to Chicago for the September 24th and 25th event. I was there as a panelist speaking on 'green' promotional products.
The main thing you have to know about 'green' promotional products is that there is no perfectly green product. They all have their pros and cons. As the marketer for your business you need to decide how green you want or need to be. If you don't have buy-in or direction from the top your efforts can only be limited and sporadic. If your company has a comprehensive sustainability strategy you can make your promotional product buys within that framework.
